Effective bird control measures for your property

Having birds in or around your property or business place can be a pain. Birds can cause a nuisance in many different ways. They foul on the pavements; causing them to be slippery and not pleasant to walk by. They can block your guttering and dislodge roof tiles. They can even carry diseases.

If you find a molehill in your garden it can be the start of a very stressful time ahead due to the damage they can cause to your turf and gardens from their digging. Moles can tunnel up to 4 meters an hour and up to 20 meters a day – causing you lots of molehills (mounds of earth). Moles like to follow hedge lines and also places that are rich in insects and worms. It is rare you will see moles above ground but you are sometimes able to see them working, as the mounds of earth will start moving in the centre while the mole pushes more of the earth to the surface while it is tunnelling. Molehills are more common throughout April – October.
